Pristina / September 22, 2025 – With deep sorrow, it has been announced that the renowned Albanian actor, director, and professor, Enver Petrovci, has passed away at the age of 71. The news was made public by the National Theatre of Kosovo, the Rotary of the State, as well as the Regional Theatre of Novi Pazar, among other sources.
Life and Contribution
- Birth and Passing: Petrovci was born on February 28, 1954, in Pristina.
- Educational Path: He first studied at the Pedagogical High School in Pristina and later graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.
- Artistic Career: Enver Petrovci became one of the most distinguished figures of Albanian theatre, cinema, and television. He brought to life classical roles such as Hamlet, Macbeth, Julius Caesar, and many more, delivering profound and professional interpretations that made him beloved by audiences.
