The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, began her official visit to the United States with a warm gathering with the Albanian diaspora in Waterbury, Connecticut.
In a social media post, President Osmani expressed her gratitude for the hospitality and the unwavering love of the diaspora for their homeland, describing the meeting as “special and filled with emotions.”
She gave special thanks to the “Hasan Prishtina” Association for organizing the event and for the continuous contribution of the diaspora in preserving strong ties with Kosovo.
During her stay in the U.S., President Osmani is also expected to hold meetings with other members of the Albanian community as well as American officials.
